This software tool replaces the ribbon menu of the Outlook 2007 with the old style Outlook 2003 menu bar.
This is not a tool for a new user, nor does it add any feature. What it does is provide some comfort to users who graduated from the older Outlook 2003 or earlier versions. The user interface underwent quite a change with the introduction of the so called "ribbon" interface in the Office 2007 products by Microsoft. All old users thus face a unlearning first and then learning the new interface. It could decidedly get disorienting, trying to find features you are used to in the new interface. This program solves the problem by providing you with all the Outlook 2007 features in the old styled menu. That is likely to provide quite a bit of comfort to users, who may feel frustrated in not finding what they need at the places they have come to expect.
All the new features in Microsoft Outlook 2007 have been added into the Main Menu, the Standard Toolbar and Formatting Toolbar by the publishers. The program also maintains compatibility in supporting the languages the 2007 version does. The tool makes it easy to enable or disable the tool bar depending on if you are feeling adventurous enough to try the new menu or need the comfort zone. Some might think, this is a retrograde step. However, if you are a heavy user of Outlook and need time to make the complete switch this could be a very good transition tool.
